Red Moon Apostles
Building a surreal world for an independent record release.

Beneath the Burning Sands is the debut album from Red Moon Apostles. There was no budget to shoot a glossy music video, so I started digging through public-domain film archives. I'd spend hours looking through old footage for images that resonated with the music and lyrics.
Once something clicked, I'd start working the footage, saturating the color, layering in film grain and distressed textures, and experimenting until everything felt like part of the same world.
The strange, surreal visuals became the backbone of the release across social media. The album eventually reached more than 50,000 Spotify streams without any label support behind it, proving that a distinctive voice can still break through the noise.
